I know fast food is bad for me, the environment, factory farm animals, and the world's fragile psyche...

But when you don't know how to cook and need something quick and easy to eat at the end of a ten hour workday and don't want to spend the higher price, hassle, and time of preparing a grocery store homemade meal...

What the hell are you supposed to eat?
Lean Cuisine? Hot Pockets?
Someone tell me. Because I have no idea.

Maybe I just need to be filthy rich and hire an at-home chef and personal shopper. I guess then I could afford to look down my nose at Jack-In-The-Box.

Until then.... bring on the choice. Combo meals or anorexia?

SelectSmart does the presidential election:

86% Green Party and Independent and only 65% Democrat? Well, that disturbs me less than the 17% Republican... I'd like to think I'm FAR LESS Republican than that. Maybe I'm just having a self-centered day.

Greens are fine for local elections, but when it comes to matters of world war and peace, I'd much rather throw my vote at a candidate who has at least a remote chance of ousting the worst president in American history. You can vote your conscience all you want, but you'll still be at war with Iraq after you do.

Follow these easy steps and you too can cultivate a seething disdain for mankind:

1) Find work in the tourism industry.
2) Answer the idiotic questions of tourists day in and day out for, say, three or more months.
3) Wait patiently for the hatred to grow.

And it's just that simple!

You know, I once thought to myself, everyone has to be so much smarter than they let on. But no, no, I was wrong. People really are as stupid as they seem.
